Delusional and insencure
it never took much more
you deserve better
something I'll never be able to give you
take your pick, because the better are waiting

I understand the desire, and it won't hurt for much more than a while
Pain and suffering never took much effort
I'll be fine, if not, it doesn't matter
not many people, can read between my line.

Your too busy trying to bring me up
to notice me dragging you down
see through the illusion
look past the fog
uncover your eyes babe
learn what you really want
see what you really need,
you deserve a mountain-mover
not a tree pusher.

You look me in eye,
While you tell me the classical lie
tellin' me I'm better than I am
I never believed your scam.
I aint a little boy
And I won't fall for your coy.
