New Features & Fixes: Subscribing and Who's Online
Hi everyone, how are you doing? :)
While using this site, I noticed quite a lot of bugs and I fixed some of the most glaring ones but I also have added some new things:
- There are some changes to the submitting process of articles but its fairly straight forward for you to use still.
- You can now delete your Unpublished articles from your dashboard page.
- To help keep on top of your favourite users, you can now subscribe to them (email is required, edit your profile to include this) by going to their profile and hitting the subscribe link. Once they publish a new article, you will receive an email. This feature is still in testing phase so if you notice any issues, please do let me know. Also don't bother subscribing to users who are "Publishers", that system is not in place yet so you won't get any emails.
- Another feature added which was suggested by alyssa is the ability to see who is currently online. This can be seen on the Home Page of the site on the right hand side of the site (scroll down).
Aesthetically, the site does not look that good but I will try my best to improve on it visually as well as adding other features such as a Forum and Private Messaging.
If you have any queries, suggestions, comments, etc then please leave a message here or in my profile.
Oh and lastly, to help improve the community, why not help it and suggest the site to other people. Maybe we can get more people to write up new things and giving you more to read and discuss :) Remember, you don't have to just write poems, they can be questions too you know, even a point blank statement that can bring up a discussion with others to talk about.
